
United Way 2-1-1 is a 24-hour, 7 days a week, WEB-based community information and referral service covering 10 counties throughout Northeast Florida. The service meets Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) standards and is certified by the
American Association of Suicidology. It is the first 2-1-1 Call Center to be able to enter a call into a shared database.

After two years of assessment and strategic planning involving over 80 key community stakeholders in senior services, Life: Act 2 was launched by United Way in April, 2002. Life: Act 2 is a pro-active community
response to the opportunities and challenges an exploding senior population will bring to the Northeast Florida community.

Full Service Schools is a neighborhood-governed educational and social service collaboration designed to meet the health and psycho-social needs of students. The goal of the collaboration is
to deliver to the classroom, healthy, motivated and well-behaved students thereby allowing teachers to teach rather than having to address non-educational issues.

United Way of Northeast Florida offers free, interactive workshops as part of the national, Born Learning public engagement campaign. These workshops help parents, grandparents, and other caregivers explore ways to enhance their child’s development.
