Champion Zone Project
The Champion Zone project is a collaborative initiative between United Way of Northeast Florida, Duval County Public Schools, The Community Foundation in Jacksonville, and the Jacksonville Children's Commission. The initiative is designed to create Community Champions by building the capacity of local nonprofits and faith-based organizations located in the 32211 zip code area to better service the residents and build a stronger community.

Grant Opportunities
The Champion Zone Project sub-awards are awarded to community and faith-based organizations in the Arlington area to increase their ability to serve individuals and families through the following:
  • Leadership Development
  • Program Development
  • Organizational Development
  • Revenue Development
  • Community Engagement
Approximately $200,000 each year is awarded to organizations participating in the Champion Zone Project.
