In an effort to raise awareness, United Way 2-1-1 will partner with the Northeast Florida faith-based community on Monday, February 11 for 2-1-1 Day. More than 1,300 places of worship received fact sheets about 2-1-1 and its services. The format can be easily inserted into bulletins, newsletters and emails. Congregation members will be encouraged to tell one person about 2-1-1 and its services, such as finding the best childcare center for your child, receiving tax assistance or seeking help for a troubled teen.
For those seeking help, 2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember three-digit phone number, available 24-hours, 365-days-a-year. This community wide effort will increase awareness and spread the word about 2-1-1 to communities across Northeast Florida.
