The Jacksonville Jaguars and United Way of Northeast Florida teamed up for the 9th annual Hometown Huddle at Woodland Acres Boys & Girls Club and Woodland Acres Elementary School to give back to the community and provide a day of fitness to more than 250 Arlington youth.

With more than 700 guests in attendance 2007 Campaign Chair Ron Autrey, president of Miller Electric, announced the campaign goal of $26,102,672 that will allow United Way to increase its impact in improving lives of First Coast children and families.

United Way of Northeast Florida announced two innovative strategies to decrease dropout rates and increase the number of preschool children attending high quality early learning centers. With more than 100 educators, community leaders, and public officials present, United Way unveiled its Success By 6 and Achievers For Life initiatives at a media briefing held at Arlington Middle School.
