United Way 2-1-1 is a 24-hour, 7 days a week, WEB-based community information and referral service covering 10 counties throughout Northeast Florida.
The service meets Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) standards and is certified by the American Association
of Suicidology. It is the first 2-1-1 Call Center to be able to enter a call into a shared data base, followed by an electronic
referral to an agency which can access caller information via the same shared data base.

RESULTS
Over the last year, United Way 2-1-1:
- Provided information and referral services to more than 70,000 callers.
- Providing the data base and technical support to the JAXCare Partnership resulting in an increase in the number of low-income working adults receiving health care.
- Provided a central client data bank to include demographics and services received, to more than 70 member agencies via a shared data base; thereby promoting service integration and reducing duplication of services and fraud and abuse. /li>
- Provided critical data and data analysis to major community funders of health and social services specific to citizens' requests for services and community unmet needs.
- Provided phone eligibility determination for local federal and state social service and economic programs. United Way 2-1-1 is the first information and referral call center in the nation to have this capability.
- Provided 2-1-1 coverage to 9 counties in Northeast Florida (Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau, Baker, Putnam, Columbia, Suwannee, and Hamilton).
